Unlike other heavy-duty shifters, Steeda didn’t just copy their T-5 shifter onto a Tremec base. The entire shifter mechanism was re-engineered to have the correct pivot ratio and spring tension for the beefier Tremec transmission. Your Tremec isn’t the same inside as a T-5.
Steeda did keep the patented features that make the Tri-Ax the most popular shifter in the market. From the ergonomically comfortable Tri-Ax handle to the third gear assisting Offset preload mechanism. You can be sure this shifter will perform as you’ve come to expect a Tri-Ax shifter to perform.
