Description
This listing is for a 2 1/2″ Threaded X 2 1/2″ Slip Heater Union with Gasket designed for spa heating systems. The slip side accepts a 2 1/2″ pipe or fitting for gluing, while the threaded side connects to a 2 1/2″ Heater Flange using the included 2 1/2″ Nut. This union glues onto 2 1/2″ plumbing measuring approximately 2 7/8″ outer diameter and threads onto a 2 1/2″ Heater Flange measuring roughly 3 11/16″ across. Please note: Global also stocks alternative 2 1/2″ Heater unions including 2 1/2″ thread X 1 1/2″ slip and 2 1/2″ thread X 2″ slip configurations. When both your plumbing and heater are 2 1/2″, this union is your correct choice. This configuration is our most commonly purchased version, with 2 1/2″ X 2″ being second most common and 2 1/2″ X 1 1/2″ being least common. Commonly installed in spa applications for connecting to 3″ heaters with 2 1/2″ Nuts.
