Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, set parking brake, and turn off the engine.
- Remove the old pedal pad by pulling it off. If it is stuck, cut a small slit with a utility knife or pry gently with a flat-head screwdriver or pliers.
- Clean the metal pedal surface with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove oil, grease, and debris. Allow to dry.
- Warm the new rubber pad in hot water or use a hair dryer briefly to soften it (optional but helps fit).
- Align the pad opening with the pedal and push it firmly onto the pedal face, stretching as needed until it fully seats over the edges.
- Ensure the pad is centered and securely seated with no loose edges. Trim any excess if necessary.
- Depress the pedal several times to confirm secure fit and safe operation before driving.
