These replacement-style cables are engineered to accurately replicate the original factory setup for vehicles equipped with factory-installed speed controlmaking them ideal for authentic restorations.
From 197982, Ford used a two-piece system consisting of an upper and lower cable. This design was later updated to a single-piece cable with the speed control integrated at the transmission. The cable offered here represents the correct upper section, connecting the speed sensor to the back of the speedometer.
